Steven D. Kendall is the author of several books including God's Glorious Christian Soldiers and New Jack Cinema: Hollywood’s African American Filmmakers.

Mr. Kendall is a former Assistant Professor who taught film, video and Internet related courses during his teaching career for The American University, Montgomery College, and The University of Virginia. Steven is also an experienced film and video writer/producer who produced programming for several cable networks.

Steve retired from full-time teaching due to a neuromuscular disease. When he has the energy, Steven devotes his time to writing, cooking for his lovely wife and their wonderful children and attending church at http://www.MountMoriahChurch.org
